Last night saw the launch of the Serge DeNimes SS15 collection in East London’s Hoxton Hotel. Oliver Proudlock’s collection was launched in style with music coming from the electric Mikill Pane – maxing out the volume and getting the crowd hyped. The streetwear collection looked great with a focus on clean design and a pallet of black and yellow. The drinks flowed courtesy of Red Stripe lager and Rebellion rum with the atmosphere buzzing all night long.
The atmosphere was such that I was reluctant to whip out the flash on my cam, and decided instead to film the evening. A little voyeuristic! Check it out and share it if you like it...
Whilst first impressions may have presented Made in Chelsea meets Ghetto... there really weren't any MIC vibes. Only one or two cast members turned up, and were discrete about it. Which actually gave me a little more respect for the budding designer Proudlock. And what is more, the quality of the clothing really did look great. Many reality TV stars produce ranges of clothing, collaborating with high street names, but the quality isnt there. Clearly Oliver is keen on quality control, and not looking to make a quick buck.
